Character

Name: King of Spades (Alfred F. Jones)
Age: early 20's
AU: Hetalia AU/Cardverse; in this AU the characters are personified card suits instead of their nation counterparts. Via means of magic, the King of the country is reliant on the Queen, needing to take in energy from their suited pair.

Personality/Background:
As a public figure, the King of Spades has a very charismatic and strong personality. For those in his kingdom, this is a very inspiring thing and most adore him for his honest, positive side. While other kingdoms might fault him for how he acts, that doesn't stop him from being his bubbly and almost self-centered self. The kingdom's prosperity is what matters most, after all. Albeit, those outside of his kingdom are quick to judge him as whimsical and ill-suited for his position. According to some of the other kingdoms, if it weren't for his queen, they imagine the Spades would fall into hard times; especially when it comes from the opinion of the Clubs.

Though, as a diplomat, he has many shortcomings and would rather pawn the duty of "foreign affairs" off to his queen. Social pleasantries and intimate gatherings don't really catch his interest and when he is at them, he'll tend to want to spend the night at the food table. (Simultaneously, he feels the need to stick his nose in every conversation, welcome or unwelcome. Curiosity and center of attention.)

In private, the king is much more willful and spoiled when it comes to the queen. If he tried to pull half of these things in public, he'd receive and earful about inappropriate and disgraceful behavior. He's a lot more relaxed and casual, more true to his careless side. It's times like this where he doesn't have to worry about a kingdom to rule. Despite his friendly attitude, there aren't many he shows his more serious side to, limiting that namely to the queen.

So, unlike his canon counterpart, he's a lot more amiable and more prone to listening to Arthur. There is more sense of Duty and the position he is in lends itself to needing to take on more responsibility. While he is very much still a "Hero of the story" type, there's less of a need to be as "in your face" about things.

Game

What possessions are they bringing along?
A feline friend. The one he brings is the Scottish Fold with the adorable brown eye patch. What a cute runt.

What do they want in return for helping?
An unlimited hamburger machine. (Especially since the cooks are stingy on this type of meal.)
